Next, a hour or so ride by boat to San Pedro, a small friendly village. Also location of San Pedro Lodge. I did not bring a watch. I really don't know how long it took by boat. My first taste of the jungle, the rain forest, the Amazon and tributaries. Wow. I also was very tired. 2 + hours Seattle to San Francisco. 9 hours San Francisco, Lima. 3 hours Lima to Iquitos. A boat ride. And a 1/2 hour or more walk from boat to lodge. Whew!
